Whitecourt

With over 300 kilometers of groomed trails, WHITECOURT is known as the official Snowmobile Capital of Alberta but we’re so much more. Whether its tubing on the McLeod River, Jet Boating down the Athabasca, camping at Carson – Pegasus Provincial Park or testing out our fishing and hiking spots, Whitecourt and Woodlands County have the activities and natural beauty to meet every visitors needs.

We offer a challenging golf course, miles of walking trails and a wide variety of activities including National and International Jet Boat Races, Rodeo and Chuck wagon races, a Classic Car Show and numerous sporting events or come and celebrate the summer with us at the Canada Day Festivities or the Labor Day Party in the Park. We invite you to come check us out.

The Whitecourt Golf and Country Club is a great golf course with the right combination of tree-lined fairways as well as “grip it and rip it” holes. The front nine is very challenging with the trees lurking on every hole. The back nine opens up a bit more and offers a great finish to a great golf course. The signature hole at the Whitecourt Golf and Country Club is the 200 yard par 3 fourth hole. Set along the banks of the Athabasca River, par is a very good score. The golf course has a fully stocked pro shop and offers many different services. Set up a tee time and let our qualified CPGA staff assist you with your golfing needs.
