The Town of Vermilion is nestled in the gently rolling hills of the Vermilion River Valley located 90 minutes east of Edmonton at the junction of Hwy 41 and Yellowhead Hwy 16. A wide variety of retail outlets and services ensure that you’ll enjoy your time in our community. Our Vermilion Provincial Park offers an escape for those of you looking to get away from it all. The park boasts 23km of paved trails which meander along the river’s edge, a fully stocked trout pond, a mini-golf course for t he entire family to enjoy; conveniently located next to picnic areas and the campground. Plan to take in our Vermilion Agricultural Fair July 29, 30, 31, 2010 which attracts over 20,000 people to Vermilion each year.

VERMILION GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB

Located 90 minutes east of Edmonton, the Vermilion Golf and Country Club has been providing golfers in North Eastern Alberta exceptional rounds since 1947. The course meanders through gently rolling hills, bordered by farmland, creating a challenging yet scenic experience for all levels of golfers. Club amenities include: driving range, practice greens, power cart and club rentals. Relax in the clubhouse and be sure to visit the pro shop for all your golfing needs.
