Slave Lake

Slave Lake is located only 250 km north of Edmonton at the eastern tip of Lesser Slave Lake, offering beautiful beaches with miles of white sand. Boat launch facilities, campgrounds and marinas are conveniently located on the north edge of the community and additional campgrounds can be found in the Lesser Slave Lake Provincial Park, home of Gilwood Golf & Country Club.  Whether you enjoy world-class fishing, sailing, windsurfing, building sandcastles, golfing, hiking or birding, or simply relaxing on the beach, there’s something to inspire and rejuvenate all ages.
