Somebody once stated something like: “It is not the destination, but rather the journey.” When traveling in northern Alberta and into the Northwest Territories, the journey is a large part, so enjoy it. As you are enjoying it, you can ‘Take a Break’ in our beautiful little community. As you enter the river valley in which Manning is situated you will notice that this is not a typical Northern Alberta town. The town flourishes in the summer, literally. Tree lined streets, flowers in bloom, pedestrian-friendly sidewalks, these are all things that say, “Let’s park and go for a walk around the town.” While walking you can enjoy a meal, dessert, shopping for gifts, souvenirs, even essentials and groceries. Condy Meadows is a full-length 9-hole course situated in a beautiful river valley 15 kilometres north of Manning. Well-maintained tree lined fairways and manicured greens greet players of all skill levels. With our long summer nights, one can play until well after 10:00 pm, giving you plenty of time to take in other activities in the area. Available services at the golf course include a clubhouse/restaurant, pro shop, power carts, pull carts, and club rental. If you prefer to do some camping in addition to your golfing we’ll make it convenient. Adjacent to the golf course is a campground that includes full hook-ups, a playground, and large gazebo-great for hosting larger groups. The course and campground are open from approximately mid- April through September (depending on the weather) you can contact the clubhouse for more information.
