Manning

Somebody once stated something like: “It is not the destination, but rather the journey.” When traveling in northern Alberta and into the Northwest Territories, the journey is a large part, so enjoy it. As you are enjoying it, you can ‘Take a Break’ in our beautiful little community. As you enter the river valley in which Manning is situated you will notice that this is not a typical Northern Alberta town. The town flourishes in the summer, literally. Tree lined streets, flowers in bloom, pedestrian-friendly sidewalks, these are all things that say, “Let’s park and go for a walk around the town.” While walking you can enjoy a meal, dessert, shopping for gifts, souvenirs, even essentials and groceries. See you here in the ‘Land of the Mighty Moose!’
