Grovedale Golf and Country Club is conveniently located 14 miles Southwest of the city of Grande Prairie. This challenging 18-hole course offers a dramatic, country, park-like setting, nestled in the picturesque hamlet of Grovedale, just 15 to 20 minutes away, which is paved all the way to the front door.

This 18-hole golf course is beautifully treed and can be enjoyed with privacy even on windy days! Native groves of poplar, hundreds of spruce trees and tall prairie grasses provide definition to the perfectly landscaped holes where wildlife abounds. The pace is slower, players are more relaxed and strangers are always made to feel welcome and unwind. The licensed Clubhouse makes a great facility for business and pleasure and is suited to host banquets and company tournaments that encourage networking in a friendly, hospitable atmosphere. Walk-ins are welcome!

Pipestone Golf Club is a family built and operated golfcourse located south of Wembley. The golf course was created with a western motif and features attractive details such as wagon flower beds, a 1937 country school house and various horse drawn farming implements scattered throughout the property. In keeping with this theme, part of the pro shop is built with wood from an old farmhouse and the clubouse features decorative pieces and antiques.

The overall layout of the course favours novice and family play but the silver tees offer a challenge to even the low handicapper at 5851yds. The signature hole is the #12 “Pipestone Drop”. The challenging 258 yds downhill features a breathtaking view of the valley and trees along the banks of Pipestone Creek. Mention Golf Northern Alberta when booking and receive a logoed golf ball and 10% off any proshop purchase over $30.
