Serving the town of Fort Smith, Northwest Territories, the Pelican Rapids Golf and Country Club is the most northerly golf course in Alberta.  Overlooking the Slave River, the course is just two kilometres south of the 60th parallel – the border between Alberta and the NWT. The course is a challenging, tree-lined, nine-hole layout with irrigated grass fairways and sand greens. Amenities include a fully-licensed clubhouse, a driving range, club and power-cart rentals. The Club is famous for its warm hospitality and wonderful scenery. The lookout deck at the first tee provides an excellent view of world-class whitewater rapids.
