Out golfing? Are you doing some camping as well?  The Municipal District of Northern Lights contains three provincial parks – Sulphur Lake, Notikewin, and Twin Lakes – as well as several other camping spots, including Condy Meadows Golf Course just north of Manning. Do you enjoy learning about history? The Battle River Pioneer Museum features a large collection of artifacts including an Albino Moose, the Famous Windigo Moose Horns and a two-headed calf. The Antique Tractor parade, held annually every August, draws visitors from near and far. The annual Battle River Rodeo is held on the last weekend of July and features not only rodeo events, but also a demolition derby. There is much to do in the area whether you are spending a few days or just taking a break during a longer journey.
